Jason & Sam first met when they were 11 years old as campers at Camp Canadensis in the Pocono mountains.

 

Although they almost always lived in different cities—both while growing up & in their professional lives—they maintained a strong friendship across 2 decades. There was never a time when they weren’t frequently in touch or planning a trip to visit each other, either in their respective cities or on an adventure to somewhere new.

 

The pandemic brought change for everyone, but for Jason & Sam, it turned out that change was a very good thing. It was during this time that they both saw more than friendship in the other. They quickly realized that there was no time like the present to start their lives together. A few months later, Jason moved from New York City to Philadelphia. Flash forward to June 4, 2022 & they’re engaged!

 

While Canadensis is where their friendship began, it grew & flourished in Washington, DC, New York, Australia, Italy, Las Vegas, Los Angeles (& so many more.) Their friendship became a relationship in Philadelphia & their relationship will soon become a forever.
